Alopecia Areata - Treatment and Symptoms

Alopecia Areata is a autoimmune disease that causes the immune system to form antibodies against some hair follicles. This can lead to hair loss onthe scalp and elsewhere. Alopecia Areata causes sudden smooth, circular patches of hair loss. 4)Alopecia areata is not contagious, not caused by foods, and is not the result of nervousness.
