When your skin changes, as a result of climate, age, stress or other factors, your skin care system needs to be aqjusted accordingly. Compare it to when you first join a professional gym. A trained instructor will assess your individual fitness level before determining your personal fitness programme and as you improve (or maybe get injured) your systcm needs to be either up- or downgraded. The same idea applies to skincare
Here are a few points essential for basic skin care
Cleanse : To remove make-up and impurities.

" Wash your face in warm- not hot!-water to loosen clogged pores and stimulate blood circulation to the skin .
" Wet the face, then squeeze a dime-sized dab of cleanser into your palm , rub your hands together, and gently move them in circles around your face.
" Rinse with cool (but not icy) water to tighten the pores. Water that is too hot or too cold can cause broken capillaries
" Do not excessively wash with medicated cleanser, if you have acne , it is incorrect to assume that it will work, and it only results in overly dry, irritated skin.
" Keep it fuss free. Wash with gentle cleanser whether you prefer foamy or not. Do not feel you have to spend lots of money on a cleanser.
" Use a separate product to remove eye make up. Remember to wash off all make up at night.

Spread a thin coat of the mask evenly over the skin. Avoid the eye area.
Leave the mask on for as long as it says in the instructions. Natural face masks or homemade face masks should generally be left on for at least fifteen minutes.
While the face mask is on, try to move your facial muscles as little as possible. Try not to laugh or smile.
Clay masks should be removed with a hot washcloth. Some masks may be removed with a tissue. Peel-off masks should be peeled off from the forehead down.
